I really enjoy my job, which is why I started this blog. I’ve been told Capricorns are driven by success, but possess a unique internal yardstick that determines what is successful. And that being goats, they make risky leaps from one high place to another with an astounding grace and surety. Perhaps that is why I have stuck with this profession and company for so long: I keep finding ways to learn more, do more, and creating new avenues for communication.
And I love the techie stuff! I’ve received more informal “yes you are a Geek awards” than I can count.
I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, and work for Lawson Software (“the views presented here are mine, not necessarily theirs!”) as a Lead Information Developer.
Outside of work, I keep really busy with a family and a big set of projects. Eclectic describes my interests well: knitting, crocheting, reading, Renaissance festivals, sewing, pets (3 cats, 3 dogs), writing, birds (I feed and photograph them), writing, gardening and home improvement projects; a level 70 warlock; very raw Guitar Hero skills (I’m better on a real 12-string); and my latest walking program.
But most of all I love my partner and our two children. Life would be empty, dull, and really quite pointless without them.
Hey, Tam-
Love your Blog! I’ve been wanting to come by and read but I’ve been rather brain challenged and when I begin to consider doing it my mind wanders off to another project I had neglected. I’ve been busy trying to post one rant a day on my blog. Then I go on to do whatever other writing project I’m planning for the day. With the elections, so much happening in our political world and just ignorance that deserves to be drug into the light, I’m sure you can imagine my most difficult issue is deciding what I want to rant about in my blog today. Lol! Anyway, I also have other projects that are fun and not quite as heavy.
It’s great to get back in touch with you. I hope you, your kids and your companion have a wonderful Christmas.
Love,
Bobbi Hughes-Millman
